About the table: Annual changes for entire sectors are calculated using the National Mediation Office's compilation of the official wage statistics for each sector: hourly wages for blue-collar workers in the private sector, monthly wages for white-collar workers in the private sector, employees in municipalities, employees in regions, and employees in the central government. The official wage statistics for each sector are continuously published on the website of Statistics Sweden (SCB): www.scb.se. Two dots (..) indicate that data is not available.

Definitive number + nowcast Jan-24 - Dec-24

Final and estimated values: Final values for the most recent twelve months are estimated for each sector using the National Mediation Office's statistical model.

Definitive number + preliminary numbers

Final and preliminary numbers: The numbers for the most recently published twelve months are preliminary. The wage data refers to the period in which the wages were earned, and information on retroactive pay is collected until the reference month becomes final.

Central agreements

Central agreements: The wage increases resulting from central collective agreements for those covered by them. The annual changes are calculated by compiling information from around 60 collective agreements across various agreement areas in the Swedish labor market.
